     The Anáhuac Mayab University (AMU) is one of the leading universities in the mexican southeast since 1984.  The AMU offers 24 undergraduate programs, 17 master´s degrees, 4 PhD´s and a variety of training courses. The institution has more than 3,500 students in its  modern campus.    The Indian Institute of Technology Madras is one among the foremost institutes of national importance in higher technological education, basic and applied research. IIT Madras is a residential institute with nearly 550 faculty, 8000 students and 1250 administrative & supporting staff and is a self-contained campus located in a beautiful wooded land of about 250 hectares.   International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery. IAHR particularly promotes the advancement and exchange of knowledge through working groups, speciality symposia, congresses, and publications on water resources, river and coastal hydaulics risk analysis, energy, environment, dissater prevention, industrial processes, among others.

     The Hydraulic Engineering business area offers geosynthetic products, systems and solutions for water engineering applications.

     Working in interdisciplinary teams that bring together applications support, sales, R&D and marketing staff, we either supply standardized systems or develop customer-specific solutions, depending on your particular needs.

   The Hydraulic Engineering business area comprises the following segments: Coastal Engineering, Waterbodies, Waterways, Offshore, Dewatering and Pipe Coverings.

     The Coastal Engineering segment embraces all works designed to protect and improve the coastline, such as traditional revetments and breakwaters.

     The Waterbodies segment covers both natural and artificial watercourses and standing waters, and also includes, for example, the construction of artificial islands as well as standard bank protection measures.

     The focus of the Waterways segment is on standard works to inland navigation routes as well as port engineering solutions.

     Innovative hydraulic engineering applications include offshore scour protection, e.g. for wind farms, sludge dewatering using geotextile tubes and pipe coverings by means of geosynthetic concrete mattresses.
